by at least ten pointsSaturday 14 November 2009
Most worrying for Mr Obama and his fellow Democrats was that voters not signed up for either party, a critical voting bloc who flocked to him and the Democrats last year, defected in huge numbers to the Republican candidates. In Virginia, a state Mr Obama carried by seven points last year, the Republican Bob McDonnell crushed his Democratic opponent, Creigh Deeds, by 59 per cent to sterling silver jewelry 41. Republicans swept all three Virginia offices on the ballot — governor, lieutenant governor and attorney-general — by at least ten points.

In exit polls Democrats, in control of both the House and Senate and looking ahead to next November’s mid-term elections, received a torrent of disturbing news. The overwhelming message voters said that they wanted to send to incumbents was “change” — but unlike Mr Obama’s slogan last year, this time the demand appeared aimed at Democrats.

The overwhelming majority — 89 per cent in akoya pearl jewelry  Virginia, and 85 per cent in New Jersey — said that the economy was their top priority. Yet unlike last year, when voters who worried about the economy backed Mr Obama, those same voters now switched to the Republican candidates.

In Virginia three voters in four who were worried about the economy backed Mr McDonnell, with Mr Christie in New Jersey winning three in five. Many also expressed grave concerns about the vast cost of Mr Obama’s spending plans, at a time of stubbornly high unemployment and a budget deficit of $1.4 trillion.

Mr Christie said that his election was a victory for freshwater pearl strands those “who don’t want the government to fix every problem”, as the crowd before him chanted “Yes, we can”, appropriating Mr Obama’s slogan of last year.

whose home reeked of rotting bodiesSaturday 14 November 2009
The man accused of being the “Cleveland Strangler” lived for years with the niece of the city’s mayor in pearl jewelry wholesale a stinking house where police have found 11 corpses.

The revelation raises questions about why police took so long to arrest the former US marine, a convicted rapist whose home reeked of rotting bodies.

Lori Frazier, a niece of the Mayor, Frank Jackson, said that she still considered herself to be the girlfriend of Anthony Sowell, who was released from a 15-year prison sentence in freshwater pearl earrings  2005. “He came out from the penitentiary on June 23. Me and him hooked up on July 7, and I have been with him ever since,” she told reporters in Cleveland, Ohio. “I want to know why, why would he do this,” she said. “He took care of me.”

Ms Frazier, a drug user, said that Mr Sowell explained away the pungent smell of decaying bodies in the house by blaming his stepmother downstairs and, when she moved out, a sausage factory next door.

I knocked on the floorSaturday 14 November 2009
Zach Reed, a councillor who filed a complaint about the odour two years ago, has called for a federal investigation into the police response. Police insist that an officer who went to the house on September 22 to make a random check on the sex offender was not entitled to enter the house, despite the stench of death.

When a naked woman fell from  cultured pearl jewelry a window of the house hours later, and was found by neighbours being choked by Mr Sowell, police reportedly arrived late, and again did not enter the building.

The coroner has identified seven of the victims. They are all black women, all mothers, aged between 31 and 52, with criminal records and a history of drug abuse.

A woman who escaped said that she had thought Mr Sowell was a “civilised person” when she first went upstairs to have a beer with him in April. “I’m sitting on the corner of the bed and then he just leaped up and came over and started choking me,” said Tanja Doss. “He said, ‘If you want to live, knock three times on the floor’, and I knocked on the floor.”

She told police that, as he was attacking her, he said: “You just another crack [expletive] from the cultured freshwater pearl  street; no one will know if you missing.”

Mr Jackson said that Ms Frazier was lucky to escape the alleged serial killer: “My niece would probably fit the same profile of many victims, so she is fortunate, very fortunate,” he told reporters.

Cleveland police have expanded their investigation to include three murders that took place near Mr Sowell’s previous home before he was sent to prison for 15 years for a 1989 rape. When a local news reporter visited one of Mr Sowell’s previous homes she found a bone in the narrow space underneath the raised house.

A woman in California who saw Mr Sowell on television claims that he raped her while he was stationed in the sterling silver jewelry military there. Investigators are also looking again at any unsolved cases while he served with the Marines in North Carolina and Okinawa, Japan.

A statement from the Transport MinistrySaturday 14 November 2009
It took a wild pig on the runway at Harare International Airport to reveal what many Zimbabweans have long feared: the country's Civil Aviation Authority and the national airline have gone the way of freshwater pearl pendant much of Zimbabwe’s other frayed institutions.

A statement from the Transport Ministry said last week that one of Air Zimbabwe’s Chinese-made MA60 60-seaters had crashed on Tuesday after hitting the bushpig — a smaller relative of the warthog — on take-off. The nose, a wingtip and a propeller were damaged.

A letter from a public-spirited passenger published yesterday in the Standard newspaper revealed that the wholesale pearl jewelry incident was far more serious than the ministry had admitted.

Fambai Ngirande said that it was “by God’s grace” that he and the other 37 passengers and crew on board the flight to the western city of Bulawayo had not all perished. It was plain, he said, that the airline had “no disaster response strategy” and its personnel “did not have a clue” of what to do in a crisis.

“The plane was just about to lift off when we heard a loud bang from underneath followed by violent shaking of the entire aircraft,” wrote Mr Ngirande. “The aircraft veered off the runway into the grass before it came to a halt. Smoke and dust engulfed the shell pearl jewelry  cabin as passengers screamed for dear life.” With a petrified hostess shrieking “Evacuate!”, they discovered that one of the emergency exits was jammed. Passengers were able to jump out of the stricken plane after the main doors were laboriously opened.

There was no medical care and it tookSaturday 14 November 2009
The Transport Ministry had said that two people were injured “after evacuation”. This, Mr Ngirande explained, was after passengers sprinted away from the plane but crashed blindly into ditches on the dark airfield.

The airport emergency rescue service took five minutes to reach the plane. They were beaten by a contingent of freshwater pearl ring  secret police, whose first act was to arrest two passengers for taking photographs.

There was no medical care and it took an hour for an Air Zimbabwe manager to have water distributed. He tried to reassure them by saying that the airline’s chief executive was on his way to the airport. “The passengers retorted that they did not eat CEOs,” said Mr Ngirande.

Friends and relatives of the passengers alerted to cultured pearl jewelry  the accident by mobile phone, gathered at the airport to find out what had happened but were told nothing and refused access, added Mr Ngirande. At midnight, five hours after the crash, the passengers were allowed to leave.

“The following morning I spoke to the two people who had been arrested,” he wrote. “They had been interrogated at length, had their cameras and tapes seized and were released at 1am.”

Mr Ngirande’s flight had been delayed by the departure of the personal jet of the Congolese President, Joseph Kabila. “It doesn't bear thinking about if the bushpig had run into Kabila’s plane,” said another passenger, who asked not to freshwater pearl earrings be named.
